The company started its activities in the beginning of 2002. The first phase of operation was to carry out research and development projects to change from national evaluations to joint Nordic evaluation in all trait groups used in Nordic dairy cattle breeding. The description of the goals is given in a paper by J.Juga at Interbull meeting in Interlaaken 2002. Interbull bulletin No.29, 2002.

2005 Nordic Cattle Genetic Evaluation started it's routine source for:

• Milkability
• Temperament

2006

• Calving trait (Holstein)

In 2008 the company invests in development projects for:
